I just knew that today when I logged online to pay my tuition that my bill wouldn't have been compensated for me being employed at the college. This now means I have to figure out who I need to talk to in regards to this and will probably end up calling Bloomington. I just...I KNEW IT!!!

Alright. They made me do it.

After getting out of the staff meeting from hell this afternoon, I went to check once again on the ongoing saga that is the "fee courtesy" (aka: discount on tuition) for this semester of school. I call the Bursar's office again and they do a few things to see if it will show up on my account. But no luck. So, they tell me to go to Human Resources.

So...I do. I walk just down the hall to Human Resources and inquire about the fee courtesy. Someone there goes to check on it. Asks me if I filled out a form for fall. I said that I had...then just after Thanksgiving, filled out a form for Spring 2008. They go back to look again. They say they can't find the piece of paper and must have lost it.

Okay...mind you...

TUITION IS DUE BY 5:00 PM TODAY OR THERE WILL BE A 1.5% LATE FEE TACKED ONTO IT!

I make this abundantly clear. I cannot pay the $1,445.65 that is on my bill. I need this fee courtesy. That's one reason I can take 3 classes is because I get them at a discounted rate.

What do they do? Have me fill out a new sheet for the fee courtesy. I ask them if it will hit the account by 5:00 pm today because that's when it's due by. They say it won't. So...that's lovely!

I already told the Bursar's office that I REFUSE to pay a late fee should it not hit.

Now for the whole purpose of this rant. For the past week I've been bothering HR about getting that fee courtesy posted. They assured me it would clear on Friday. But now I find out that they lost my paper. WHAT THE HELL!!??

I get it...people lose things all the time. But this is a MAJOR thing. And I'm not quite sure what I should do as far as paying for the spring semester, which starts on Monday.

I'm so frickin' angry right now.
